Trump shows leadership

- Malcolm Blurton Derby

IN response to a letters in the local press criticising the great Donald Trump, may I respond by stating:

1. America, like every other country in the world, is “divided” and bound to be with agitators rife;

2. Obama’s speech to a “university” is irrelevant. He had his chance and did nothing so it is just “sour grapes” as all ex-presidents, prime ministers and the like do when somebody comes in and does better – for example Blair on Brexit;

3.Falling asleep – I do the same while reading letters criticising Donald;

4. Putting the UK back on the right track – clearly the weak May’s approach is not working. A strong man like Donald Trump is needed;

5. The Bible says a lot of things and most of them contradict each other, for example, turn the other cheek and an eye for an eye.

In summary, Donald is plain speaking, gets straight to the point, has integrity and gets things done (or attempts to) – a quality sadly lacking with the past presidents and our past and present government.

This country is out of control with murders, rapes, muggings and theft being rife.

Our roads are filled with near maniacs driving with drink/drugs in their systems at colossal speeds with no thought for anyone else.

Then we have the police saying most crimes are not investigated and, when they are, the courts letting offenders off lightly to carry on their behaviour.

Immigrants (legal and illegal) are swarming into our small island

causing vast welfare problems housing, medical and the like, I could go on and on but this letter is already getting pretty long.

Positive action is needed by someone strong and now.
