Christmas fair ‘could become a fixture’ at racecourse

-

MORE than 50 stalls filled with gift ideas will be on offer at the Staffordshire Christmas Festive Fair, organisers have announced.

The event, at Uttoxeter Racecourse over the weekend of December 1-2, is run by Oakleigh Fairs, which is aiming to attract a huge crowd at this new event.

A spokesman for the fair said: “We are delighted to be returning to Uttoxeter Racecourse again, as the Christmas Fair will complement our existing show at this venue which takes place in the summer.

“We hope this fair will prove to be a great addition to the 30 or so events we run annually across the UK.

“We are looking forward to it becoming a permanent fixture in customers’ calendar for many years to come.

“With more than 50 stalls selling a wide range of products it’s a great place to start that all-important Christmas shopping – all set undercover within the grandstand and outside stands.

“There will be a cafe area selling refreshments and light lunches as well as mulled wine.”

The fair will be open from 10am until 4pm and admission costs £5 on the gate, or £4 online by visiting oakleighfairs.co.uk/staffordshire-christmas-fair/

Admission for accompanied under-18s is free, parking is free, and dogs are not allowed in the grandstand.
