Railway book reprinted as it sells out
A BOOK which charts the history, through pictures and extensive research notes, of the railways that connected with Ashbourne, has been reprinted due to popular demand.
Rails to Ashbourne, by Howard Sprenger, proved so popular its publisher, Kestrel Railway Books, has printed another run and the book is now back on sale in Ashbourne. Ashbourne’s Visitor Information Centre, in Town Hall Yard, is among the places the book can be purchased, along with Bill Hudson Books at Matlock; Wirksworth Station bookshop; Butterley Station bookshop and High Peak Bookstore at Brierlow Bar.
