Lucy to run new high-tech business park

-

NEW owners of the former St Mary’s Nursing Home, now transformed into a high-tech business park, have announced the appointment of a new business centre manager.

Lucy Delaney, a former business broker at the Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, will offer businesses moving into the new complex a professional concierge service, at the same time as establishing a community for the firms.

Lucy, who has also run a student internship programme before being appointed business development manager at Keele University Science and Business Park, says she is looking forward to her new role.

She said: “Being appointed business centre manager for Ednaston Park is the perfect post for me.

“Over the years I’ve gained lots of experience in property management, business support and partnership working and this role will allow me to use that experience to help smaller businesses. I’m on hand to make our tenants feel welcome and provide them with the support they need to help their businesses thrive.

“I’m sure that all the businesses that join us here will feel the same sense of pride that I do when they set foot on the grounds.”

The old nursing home was bought by developer CWC Group in September 2017 and the firm has moved its headquarters into the building.

It now comprises 20,000 sq ft of flexible commercial space in the form of 32 hi-spec office suites ranging in size from 54 sq ft to 526 sq ft, which will be available as single- or multi-office lets, located across two stories.

Two open days are being staged from 10am until 2pm on December 3 and 4 to give potential tenants, neighbours and the local community the chance to visit Ednaston Park and see the results of the refurbishment programme.
