Tipi firm is tops for third time in industry awards
AN Ashbourne firm which specialises in hiring out distinctive tipis for weddings and events has won a major industry award for the third time.
Staff at Peaktipis are celebrating again after scooping the coveted Best Marquee provider for the East Midlands regional award at the prestigious Wedding Industry Awards.
The East Midlands regional finals event took place last month at Ladywood Estate in Leicestershire and saw more than 200 wedding suppliers from across the East Midlands vying for 21 regional awards.
The firm’s co-founder Matthew Chell says it is another big recognition for the firm, which set up in Ashbourne back in 2011.
He said “We are absolutely thrilled to have won the Best Marquee provider in the East Midlands award again for a third time.
“To be recognised by our wonderful couples, and for them to take the time to vote for us, along with the crème de la crème leading industry expert judges also recognising our passion and efforts in all we do, is truly overwhelming.
“We can’t wait for the National Finals in London in January – fingers crossed.”
