Santa Float is such a fun event

I SECOND the remarks in a letter last week praising the effort of the team which sets up and follows the Santa Float each year.

I know there are a lot of people involved, either organising it directly or giving up time or support to ensure it keeps running.

I’ve never been able to take part myself but I get a great deal of joy in watching it go past my house each year, with everyone happy and smiling and I always put money in the charity bucket.

We’re very lucky to have this in Ashbourne and I hope it continues for a long time to come. Highfield Road resident (Name and address supplied)
