Careline joy at all the support

-

WE would just like to thank all those in the community who are supporting Careline during this very challenging and difficult time.

The staff and trustees would particularly like to thank our 70 volunteers who are all making their befriending calls from their homes in order to ensure that all those people who are feeling the devastating effects of not seeing family and friends, have some social contact.

The Careline calls are more vital than ever in order to make people feel connected, particularly in the absence of face to face support.

A huge thank you also to all those people in the community who have also come forward to volunteer for Careline.

We would also like to thank people who have donated. With all fundraising activity now cancelled, all charities will be suffering the loss of income during the year and Careline is no exception.

We would like to thank and acknoweldge all those people who value and recognise the need to support local charities and organisations within the community. careline is a local service for local people.

We would particularly like to thank Paul Cook and his team at NFU Mutual Ashbourne, who very kindly gave us a large donation recently.

This will go a long way in ensuring we are able to make daily contact with not just older, but all members of the community who are struggling.

We can also refer onto our local support groups who are there to help with shopping, collecting prescriptions, dog walking etc.

If you or someone you know would benefit from a free befriending call, please contact us on 01335 210353 or if you would like donate, please
