Another excellent trade with all bar the heaviest types in strong demand. Top prices of£178 per head from Andrew Marsden, Great Hucklow and 364p/kg from P Langton, Kilburn.

Entry included 20 well grown ewe hoggs from local flock, bidding finished at £162 and £160/head. In the ewes and lambs plenty of buyers present, but a lot more selective. With grass in short supply the older ewes with young lambs being a lot harder to sell. Leading Prices:
