TV’S Kate reopens Notty’s museum

-

DAYTIME TV star Kate Bliss has been in Alstonefield, helping vintage clothing expert Notty Hornblower to reopen her clothing museum.

The Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip presenter cut the ribbon at Hope House Museum, which has had to remain closed throughout the pandemic, but is now back up and running.

During Kate’s visit, guests who joined the festivities were met with torrential rain, but managed to find shelter in the museum’s tea room and within its exhibition spaces.

The museum, which houses a collection built up over a lifetime of fashion and textiles through the ages, is open by appointment, and visitors can call 01335 310318 to book.
