Sir Keir is not beyond criticism

-

WELL, well, well! It looks as though what goes around comes around. “Holier-than-thou” Sir Keir Starmer may have unwittingly broken Covid rules, too. How embarrassing for him.

I am not sympathetic as he is a political opportunist who, along with his party that I used to support, have no ideas, no answers and no clue as to how to deal with the worldwide crisis of energy, inflation and the cost of living.

They are not bothered about working-class people any more... just slagging off the Tories to get cheap votes.

He has now pulled a crafty one though by offering to resign if he gets a fine from Durham police.

This is intended to force Boris to do the same thing. He is playing political games, but forgets that he demanded that Boris resign for merely being under investigation before his fine.

By that token, should Starmer now resign for merely being under investigation, too? Hoisted by yer own petard methinks, Sir Keir!

To be honest, having a beer and a curry while working all day is not the crime of the century.

But neither is Chancellor Rishi Sunak accidently stumbling into a room and being offered a piece of Boris’s birthday cake, but Starmer thought it was by spending a whole week in Parliament going on about it.

Nobody should resign so far, in my opinion. However, Boris might well find himself in more trouble later given there were other parties that were going on at Downing Street, and could get further fines which will make it more serious for him.

But please, let’s not have all this rubbish about Starmer being beyond criticism, otherwise I shall be reaching for the sick bucket.
