Google to Build New $850 Million Data Centre in Singapore
Having opened its first data centre in Singapore in 2011, Google is now set to launch its third such facility within the city, costing more than $850 million.
It is estimated that 70 million users have come online for the first time in Singapore since the company opened its second data centre there in 2015, a new market that this data centre will look to service.
The facility will use the latest in machine-learning powered clean energy technology, diverting 100 percent of the facilities waste away from landfill and using recycled water.
