WHY HYDROGEN?

Toshiba is focusing on hydrogen as a promising future energy resource for three main reasons:

• It can be produced from inexhaustible water; this means that both the energy self‐sufficient ratio and stable energy supply can be enhanced.

• Electricity can be stored in the form of hydrogen, which resolves the instability of renewable energy and can expand its use.

• Hydrogen is a very clean fuel, so by using renewable energy, Toshiba can get a carbon-free energy resource.
