Set in Margate in 1988, right after the introduction of Section 28, this powerful play intertwines two stories, student Claire’s and her teacher Anne’s, telling how they both navigate the fallout from prime minster/ evil bitch Margaret Thatcher’s legislative blow to the LGBT+ community. Written by Jennifer Carys, Dandelion runs at The King’s Theatre, London, on 16 and 17 December.
