HARDER

A monthly party that got its start in NYC, HARDER now also happens in Chicago and San Francisco, with a view to expanding to even more cities in 2019. It offers top- quality underground music with international DJs and a dark and sexy vibe that welcomes people of all persuasions. With custom video projections and expert lighting from local lighting designers, HARDER offers the ultimate fullon audio- visual experience. Easily one of NYC’s best.

WRECKEDNYC

The brainchild of DJ duo Ryan Smith and Ron

Like Hell, WreckedNYC is held deep in Brooklyn at Analog every month, offering partygoers a musical journey that carries on well into the morning with one of the best sound systems in the city. WreckedNYC books top talent from Europe and the US for its parties, while Wrecked Halloween has become an institution in NYC.

CARRY NATION

Carry Nation is the monthly party of DJs Nita Aviance and Will Automagic, who have been active in NYC’s underground for decades. Held at Good Room in Brooklyn, the party boasts two dance floors so there’s something for everyone. There's always good vibes and great music, not to mention reliably fierce looks from the partygoers.

NEW YORK IS ABOUT LIVING LIFE FULL THROTTLE, AND NOWHERE IS THAT EXEMPLIFIED MORE THAN ON THE DANCE FLOOR. THE CITY THAT GAVE US STUDIO 54 AND WENT ON TO DEFINE MODERNDAY CLUBBING CONTINUES TO KEEP OUR HIPS SHAKING IN 2019. PROMOTER OF HARDER, RICARDO TAVARES SHARES HIS PICK OF NYC’S HOTTEST QUEER CLUBS…

HORSE MEAT DISCO

London- based DJ collective Horse Meat Disco throws one of NYC’s biggest and craziest monthly parties. They’ve done a great job of bringing the community back to its disco roots and exposing a new generation of dancers to the genre. It goes down most months ( particularly on holiday weekends) at Elsewhere, a new addition to Brooklyn’s club scene.

PAT

PAT is a Thursday party at Union Pool in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, run by JD Samson ( of Le Tigre fame) and Amber Valentine, who’s a mainstay in NYC’s club scene. Although it’s not exclusively lesbian and all are welcome, it’s without a doubt one of the best gathering places for the ladies in NYC. Don’t plan on getting to work on time on Friday if you go as you won’t want to leave early.

PAPI JUICE

Billed as a celebration of queer and trans people of colour and under the musical guidance of residents Adam R and Oscar Nñ, Papi Juice goes down monthly at Elsewhere. Previous artists and DJs who've played there include Princess Nokia, MikeQ, False Witness, Juliana Huxtable and Rizzla. You can expect great music and a diverse crowd, not to mention live performances as well.

ALEGRIA

One of NYC’s longest running circuit parties, Alegria takes place on holiday weekends and special occasions both in Manhattan and Brooklyn. If your version of bliss is a packed dance floor with thousands of shirtless guys, this is the place for you in NYC.

DADDY ISSUES

International party brand Daddy Issues may have started in London but it now takes over LA, Berlin and Madrid and lands at House of YES in Bushwick, Brooklyn, every few months. It’s a see- and- be- seen kind of party where everyone shows up in colourful looks. The vibe is upbeat, with elements of pop, disco, and house, and there are always a few outrageous shows for the children.
