Folsom Street East is the East Coast’s largest queer street festival of its kind: one that creates a safe space out in the open to embrace sexuality and sexual orientation. This festival aims to eradicate stigmas and celebrate every fetish, kink, and sexual identity within the LGBT+ community. Exhibitionists and their voyeurs will fill the street on 23 June 2019.

NewFest is New York’s annual LGBT+ film festival. Over the past 30 years, it has expanded to include more than 140 films by and about LGBT+ artists and filmmakers. The festival features documentaries, episodics, shorts and narratives along with panels and parties for more than 12,000 attendees. Get yourself red- carpet- ready for the big showbiz event this July.

The Brooklyn/ Queens alternative to the commercialisation of drag at RuPaul’s DragCon features more than 150 performers from across the world for 23 hours of non- stop genderbending fun this September. With live music, shopping, bars, DJs and food, Bushwig represents New York’s drag scene at its strangest and best. From 7- 8 September.
