YOUR MONEY, OR YOUR LIFE?

-

Back in the day ‘ your money or your life’ was a choice offered to you at the roadside. Or, as a member of the LGBTQ community, across a desk when faced with a financial adviser. Because, however unpalatable it may have seemed at the time, doing the best by your money too often meant denying your life.

And that default assumptions about your gender, sexuality, partner, marital status or ability to have and raise a family resulted in two things.

First, coming out to a complete stranger who knew nothing of you, nor you of them. Second, facing exclusion, discrimination or even an entirely

different set of rules, as there simply wasn’t a box to tick for L, G, B, Tor Q. Your money was worth the same as anyone else’s, it was you that was worth less. But times have changed, not least with the arrival of Attitude Financial Services. The world’s biggest LGBTQ media brand is proud to put its name to a new partnership that brings together some of the UK’s leading financial service providers to deliver a range of market- leading products.

And it does so via a team of highly-qualified advisers who are happy in their own skin – either LGBTQ themselves, or allies of the community with diversity and inclusivity experience and an LGBTQ client base.

What does that mean? We understand that LGBTQ rights are human rights. Know that same sex marriage is marriage. Recognise that gay parents are parents.

And we understand that a person’s choice of gender pronoun is theirs alone.

Ironic, isn’t it? Attitude Financial Services.

With no attitude.
