WORLD PRIDE NYC

( 1- 30 June)

The Big Apple will shine bright with an entire month dedicated to Pride. Marking the 50th anniversar­y of the Stonewall riots, there is no shortage of things to do. Make you sure catch legendary qween Grace Jones at Pride Island, and, obvs, the famous parade on Sunday 30 June. Pose’s Dominique Jackson, Indya Moore and MJ Rodriguez will help lead the march as grand marshal — a decision that deserves 10s across the board.

EUROPRIDE

( 1- 16 June)

Wear your political heart on your sleeve ( and t- shirts) in the Austrian capital of Vienna. Organisers have pulled out all the stops for a good ol’ knees- up — with the opening of EuroPride Village at the Rathauspla­tz — but are encouragin­g participan­ts to make sure their voices and concerns are heard during the parade on Saturday 15 June

MADRID PRIDE

( 28 June- 7 July)

Sun, sangria and Mr Gay Pride Spain… there is a lot to like about the annual gathering in the Spanish capital. The parade on Saturday 6 July begins at the Atocha railway station, crosses the entire Paseo del Prado before climaxing in the Colón — that’s the city centre, to you and me. Proceeding­s coincide with crowning of the region’s hottest LGBTQ totty. Muchos gracias.

SÃO PAULO PRIDE

( 23 June)

Spreading a message of acceptance and love has never been more pressing in Brazil, given the rise of president Jair Bolsonaro. São Paulo’s gay fiesta is considered to be the best Pride on the planet and has even snatched the title “largest” according to the Guinness Book of World Records. The fun begins the week before in “gaybourhoo­ds” Caneca and Largo do Arouche, followed by the parade, kicking off at the Museum of Art, on Sunday 23 June.

PRIDE AMSTERDAM

( 27 July- 4 August)

You’d be potty to miss out on a trip to the Dam. Guaranteed to leave you on a high ( if you’re into that kind of thing), this summer’s celebratio­ns embrace the theme of “remember the past, create the future.” Visitors can sample a stream of street parties and events, notably Milkshake festival ( 28- 29 July), bringing all the boys to the yard, before the renowned canal parade on Saturday 3 August.
