Three years after his Palme D’Orwinning I, Daniel Blake, Ken Loach is back with another politically impassioned study of social inequality. This time he’s taking on the zero- hours working culture, focusing on a delivery driver battling exploitative bosses. It’s a worthy subject, but not one of Loach’s most dramatically organic films, with a script stronger on message than character detail. 1 November
