Mental- health debt forms

Currently, people facing a debt crisis who have mental- health issues are required to get a form completed by a health professional if they wish to seek financial support. Charges range from £ 30 to £ 150. However, under new rules proposed by the British Medical Association, patients will be able to submit other evidence, such as prescriptions or clinic letters – and where the forms are needed, they will be provided free.
