HIV not high risk for coronavirus

The UK government has released a list of medical conditions which put the person living with them at increased risk from coronavirus. These individuals could develop more severe disease if they get the infection, and must take extra precautions to avoid catching it. Although the list includes people with weakened immune systems, if you are HIV positive and you have an undetectable load and normal CD4 count, you should not be at any greater risk.
