197bhp Insignia turns up the heat

THE Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport is now available with a 197bhp 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine. It’s on sale now, priced from £25,610 – a premium of £1,500 over the 163bhp 1.5 T.

The car sprints from 0-60mph in 7.2 seconds, hits a 146mph top speed and claims 44.8mpg economy. All cars get a petrol particulate filter, helping them meet new Euro 6D-TEMP emissions regulations, due to come into force in 2019.
