Flâneur is all Wight for motoring books
A NEW automotive bookshop has opened on the Isle of Wight. Called Flâneur (above), it features a huge range of new and collectible motoring books, focusing on the 1960s to the 1990s.
Proprietor Warren Whyte formerly worked for a Ford garage as well as Mercedes-Benz, and also runs the Car Marketing Archive – a Twitter feed for automotive advertising through the years. If you’d like to visit, head to Avenue Road, Freshwater, where Flâneur is open on Tuesdays and Fridays. Follow the store on Twitter or Facebook to find out more – its handle is @flaneurUK.
