WE’LL FALL IN LOVE WITH FORD AGAIN
Look for a dramatic improvement in Ford’s fortunes this year. Sure, the Blue Oval still has plenty of challenges, but everything we hear from the inner sanctum makes it clear the company intends to fight its biggest battles with product quality and product appeal as the priorities. There’s evidence – flowing down from car-loving product guru Jim Farley, who was instrumental in setting up the successful Ford Performance arm – that the Blue Oval has a keener-than-ever understanding that buying a Ford will never again be a default decision, especially in Europe. Look for the “great products” message to get louder as the year goes on.
