HOW DOES BENTLEY PLAN TO BE CARBON-NEUTRAL BY 2030?
Having achieved carbonneutral production in 2019, Bentley aims to reduce water consumption, waste to landfill and other environmental impacts for every vehicle built in Crewe to an absolute minimum in the run-up to 2030.
Among the initiatives, Bentley plans to increase the number of solar panels at Crewe from 30,000 to 40,000 in the next two years and is investigating the use of sustainable biofuel in fleet cars, including its Heritage Collection vehicles.
Its suppliers are also expected to meet minimum sustainability standards. The same applies to global dealerships, which are all aiming for carbon neutrality by 2025.
