Isuzu Vehicross 1997
Isuzu isn’t known for oddballs, but the Vehicross is one glorious exception. This compact SUV, closely related to the conventional Trooper, appeared as a concept at the Tokyo motor show in 1993, then went on sale four years later with hardly any changes. Power came from either a 3.2-litre or 3.5-litre V6. It was produced from 1997 to 2001 and sold in small numbers. US sales totalled 4153, while 1805 were shifted in Japan.
