MAZDA READY TO CHARGE

Mazda only has one EV on sale at the moment: the MX-30. The crossover hasn’t yet had a full year of sales but accounted for 10% of the brand’s volume in 2021. Thomson said that in 2023, when the SMMT estimates EVS will take 20% of all new car sales, Mazda will be “well on the way” to launching “five hybrids, five plug-in hybrids and three EVS globally”, most of which will come to the UK.
