Mex­ico was the most dif­fi­cult race of the sea­son for cool­ing. The air is pretty thin so it re­duces down­force, drag and cool­ing quite dra­mat­i­cally. But with the en­gine able to cre­ate 160bhp from elec­tri­cal har­vest­ing and hav­ing a turbo, some of the en­gine power is re­tained. Wil­liams took a dra­matic ap­proach to its cool­ing there, as its rear ex­its were fairly bru­tal even com­pared to what it ran in Hun­gary.
