RARE JENSEN CV8 ON TRACK

A rare 1965 Jensen CV8, powered by a 6.3-litre Chrysler engine, turned heads on its Historic Sports Car Club Historic Touring Car debut at Brands Hatch on Sunday. David Lloyd qualified the West Bromwichbuilt machine (below) out of session and retired it from the race. MCD circuit group boss John Webb raced an earlier six-cylinder Austinengined Jensen 541R in the 1950s.
