MAIDEN E-TYPE OUTING FOR HUGHES

Jonathon Hughes is known as a historic single-seater racer, with a Monaco Historique Formula Junior win to his name. Now Hughes has a Jaguar E-type, in which he won at Donington. “I used to race Jaguars 10 years ago, I’m thoroughly enjoying it!” he said. “As a family we’ve got a passion [for Jaguars] and this is a nice addition to the fleet.” Hughes’s pre-lockdown plan was to race it in the Jaguar Challenge, and he hopes to compete in Peter Auto and other races: “Anything where the car’s eligible we’ll probably have a go at!”
