KIM JOHN­SON 1948-2020

Long-time hill­climb com­peti­tor Kim John­son died last month af­ter a short ill­ness. He drove a va­ri­ety of cars over the decades, in­clud­ing an MG Midget, an Oselli MG RV8 and a Mal­lock Mk20. John­son was also a for­mer direc­tor of the MG Sport & Rac­ing con­cern that ran ZRS in ral­ly­ing and was the team name for MG’S works ZS en­try into the Bri­tish Tour­ing Car Cham­pi­onship when field­ing An­thony Reid, War­ren Hughes and Colin Turk­ing­ton in 2003.
