The Benetton-ford B192 of Michael Schumacher sends up a spectacular shower of sparks on Spa’s Kemmel Straight during the 1992 Belgian
Grand Prix. This race is of course now part of Formula 1 lore as the event in which Schumacher took his first victory. Flanking him in this image, Mika Hakkinen (#11 Lotus-ford 107) impressed by taking the last points-paying position in sixth, while Jean Alesi (#27 Ferrari F92AT) retired after contact with Nigel Mansell’s Williams-renault FW14B popped his leftrear Goodyear and spun him off the track.
