Coanda Simsport

The inaugural Esports Team of the Year Award presented by Motorsport Games, which is decided by a jury of virtual racing experts from around the world, went to Coanda Simsport.

Team manager Philip Stamm was on stage to collect the trophy after his squad was recognised for its dominance in the Porsche Esports Supercup and its multi-discipline success.

Coanda Simsport ran the official Porsche team GTE entries in the Le Mans Virtual Series, winning its class in the first round at Monza, and its drivers bagged the ENASCAR iracing Series plus BMW SIM Live GT Cup crowns.

Stamm, who was presented with the award by Motorsport Games advisor Gerard Neveu, said: “We have been working so hard. All of the teams have so much passion and over the last 10 or so years we have put all our effort in to make our sport what it deserves to be. Esports is one of the fairest forms of motorsport because everyone has the equal equipment to race.”

Coanda Simsport was selected ahead of Williams Esports, Team Redline and R8G Esports.
