Ford has announced it will produce a limited-edition vehicle that will pay tribute to Alan Mann Racing’s Ford GT lightweight experimental prototypes. The Ford GT Alan Mann Heritage Edition will feature a red and gold livery, and will be on display at the 2022 Chicago Auto Show. AMR used lighter materials to create the AM GT-1, which was instrumental in helping Ford take its inaugural Le Mans win with the GT40 Mk2 in 1966.
