BROOKES’ CARS IN ACTION

A rare collection of cars driven by two-time British Rally champion Russell Brookes will go on display later this year. The cars include three Ford Escort Mk2s, two Opel Mantas, a Ford Sierra Cosworth, Vauxhall Chevette HSR, and a Group A Vauxhall Astra and will appear at the inaugural Firle Beacon motorsport event on 30-31 July. The cars, which will all run with the iconic blue and yellow livery of sponsor Andrews Heat For Hire, will also be driven on the 2.4-mile rally stage.
