ELLIOTT WINS IN DOVER

Chase Elliott finally joined his Hendrick Motorsports team-mates with a trip to Victory Lane this season when he won Monday’s rain-delayed NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover. Elliott, who has led the standings the past six weeks, had yet to win a race in 2022. He powered past Ross Chastain for the lead on a restart with 53 laps to go and held off Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Chastain finished third ahead of Christopher Bell and Alex Bowman.
