LOGANO SHOVES AND WINS

Team Penske Ford star Joey Logano ended a 40-race winless streak in the NASCAR Cup Series last Sunday at Darlington. William Byron had moved his Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet into the lead for the first time on lap 268 of 293 but, as the final laps ticked down, Logano was quickly gaining on the leader. With one to go, Logano pulled up right behind Byron entering Turn 3 and gave him a shot in the rear bumper, which sent Byron up the track and into the wall. Logano held off Tyler Reddick to win. “He’s just a moron,” said Byron. Justin Haley was third from Kevin Harvick and series leader Chase Elliott.
