WAINE RECOVERING
Frazer Nash racer Paul Waine is now recovering at home following his horrific crash last month at Goodwood’s 79th Members’ Meeting. Waine underwent chest surgery after being transported to Southampton hospital, having suffered a broken sternum and several ribs when his 1935 chain-ganger (below) rolled during the AFP Fane Trophy marque race, subsequently throwing him from the car. Autosport wishes him a speedy recovery.
