Make a will and help raise funds for the Ayrshire Hospice
AYRSHIRE Hospice’s ‘Make a Will Fortnight’ campaign takes place during October 2022 and it’s another fantastic opportunity to support your local hospice.
Between Monday October 17 and Monday October 31, people in Ayrshire will have the opportunity to make or update their Will in exchange for a donation to the hospice.
By making a Will, you can ensure that those closest to you are looked after in the future. You will not only be taking care of your loved ones but also helping your local hospice by supporting the campaign.
It’s easy and affordable – all you have to do is arrange an appointment with one of our participating solicitors listed on our website– www. ayrshirehospice.org/ make-a-will-campaign.
Kathryn Howell, Senior Fundraising Officer at Ayrshire Hospice said: “Thank you to all the participating solicitors who are giving their time and expertise free of charge to support our Make a Will Fortnight.”
The first Make a Will Fortnight was held in 2011 and, so far, it has raised an amazing £241,000 for Ayrshire Hospice.
More than 30 solicitors across Ayrshire & Arran take part, preparing and updating Wills during the two-week campaign.”
This week, the hospice are holding Legacy Events which are a great way to find out more about how gifts in wills make a difference to patients and families across Ayrshire and Arran.
There will be one held today, Tuesday, September 27 from 4pm to 6pm at Fairfield House Hotel, Ayr.
