PREMIUM Korean brand Genesis has expanded its presence in Scotland.

The marque, which opened its first Genesis Studio outlet north of the border in Edinburgh last summer, aims to grow sales further by partnering with Arnold Clark in Glasgow.

Located at 701 Dumbarton Road, the new showroom is now open for business and has the full range of Genesis models now available for test drive.

Eddie Hawthorne, Arnold Clark Chief Executive and Group Managing Director, said:

“We are delighted to partner with Genesis and look forward to delivering their incredible range of luxury cars to our customers.

“With a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience, Genesis and Arnold Clark share the same values, and we have the infrastructure to help expand the brand’s presence.

“This relationship already has strong foundations and we look forward to building on those over the coming years.”

Backed by the Hyundai Motor Company, Genesis arrived in the UK in May 2021.

The range, which offers style and quality to match the very best of the European premium players, goes above and beyond the rest with a comprehensive five-year care plan. Key feature over and above the warranty include scheduled servicing, roadside assistance, courtesy cars and over-the-air software updates.

Speaking about the brand’s expansion in Scotland, Jonny Miller, Brand Director at Genesis Motor UK, added: “This is a significant step forward for both the brand and our Genesis customers in Glasgow.

“Working in close partnership with Arnold Clark, we are increasing the access and touchpoints to Genesis. Glasgow is a key area for us and we look forward to seeing more Genesis cars on the road.”
