It has has been shortlisted for the Making Languages Come Alive Award ahead of the upcoming ceremony.
The school has a languages ethos which encourages all pupils to learn additional languages.

“Pupils have also recently been introduced to Spanish and have responded enthusiastically.
Gaenor Hardy, headteacher at Dalmilling Primary said: “We’re proud to have been shortlisted as finalists for this prestigious award for the second year in a row.
“Specialist and non- specialist teachers have been encouraged to introduce and develop foreign languages through our curriculum, with French taught from primary one and Spanish from primary five.
“The success of the project is all down to a committed staff and supportive parents, not to mention the enthusiasm and motivation we see every single day from our fantastic pupils.”
Finalists will attend an awards ceremony in Glasgow on June 8 where judges will reveal the winners of each category.
