Wattfield end their trophy wait at last

29 years on and club lands the Darley Hay Top Ten

Wattfield won Ayr Trophies Committee’s Darley- Hay Top Ten for the first time in the competitio­n’s 29 year history on Monday night.

They used home green advantage to beat six times winners Newton Park 6- 2 in the final.

Unbeaten Wattfield are surging ahead in the Ayr Prestwick Seniors League, sponsored by Wallace Bar.
