Trust is looking to help groups
S J McDonald South Ayrshire Charitable Trust would like to hear from groups or individuals who could benefit from funding.
The trust seeks to improve the lives of people living within South Ayrshire who are in need as a result of poverty, age, ill- health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantages.
The trust which has a funding pot of £ 760,000 is made up of 16 former trusts which previously operated throughout South Ayrshire.
And South Ayrshire Council have combined the trusts together into one organisation and the funding split is as follows:
Ayr - £ 563,500; Barr - £ 500; Girvan - £ 50,000; Coylton - £ 7,000; Maybole - £ 3,395; Prestwick & Monkton - £ 126,000; Troon - £ 9,500.
There is maximum award of £ 10,000 for applications to the Ayr, Prestwick and Monkton fund and a limit of £ 5,000 is in place for applications from Girvan.
Funding is available to groups, organisations and individuals provided they can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the trustees that it will be used to help people in need.
