Top acts set for busy week of Ayrshire gigs
After some of music’s top names visited Ayrshire in June, it’s over to local talent this week – and they won’t disappoint.
Twin Heart, Upshot, Electric Warrior and Just Like Eddie are all performing around the county this weekend, alongside a host of young talent ready to make their names in one of Scotland’s music hotspots.
Hotly- tipped Cumnock fourpiece Los Perros play O’Briens in Ayr on Saturday night, while three top breaking acts perform at the Treehouse in Ayr tonight ( Wednesday).
There’s more from the Music On The Prom team in Girvan on Sunday – they’ll be hoping for better weather than last week when a sudden downpour put paid to the music – and classical music fans are in for a treat when organist Gary Desmond visits Ayr Town Hall on Monday for the latest show in The Organist Entertains series.
