Volunteers hailed for their efforts Honours for the unsung
S p o r t i n g v o l u n t e e r s were hailed at a glittering awards night in Ayr Town Hall.
S outh Ay r s h i re Active Schools aims to provide more and higher quality opportunities for children to participate in school and community sport.
And it tries to increase c a p a c i t y t h rough the recruitment and d e v e l o p m e n t o f volunteers.
Ha r d wo r k i n g v o l u n t e e r s w e r e h o n o u red in an evening which also saw performances from Marr College and Glenburn PS dancers, and the South Ayrshire Percussion Band.
