Your guide to the best gigs around Ayrshire
Time to start shaking off the festive cobwebs and kick 2017 off in style with some top gigs around Ayrshire this week.
On Friday night popular rockers Big Licks head to Kilmarnock’s Fanny by Gaslight for what is sure to be another busy night.
Saturday sees old school rock ‘ n’ rollers come to the fore as Badstone head to Kilwinning’s Alton Inn and Just Like Eddie takes to the stage at Ayr’s Anchor Bar.
Wedding and function band The Bond head to Kilmarnock’s Bellfield Tavern on Saturday night, while Jigsaw and Roy perform at Prestwick’s RAF Association Club and Ayr’s Ex- Services Club respectively.
And with the dawn of the New Year, popular jam sessions and open mics return at venues throughout the county including the Bellfield Tavern and Fanny by Gaslight in Kilmarnock, The Twa Dugs, Tam O’Shanter Inn and Harleys in Ayr, The Wick in Prestwick and Kilwinning’s ALton Inn.
