Changing the lives of women in Ayrshire
Women facing the change of life with a positive attitude is the focus of an event at the Park Hotel next month.
Organised by Positive Pulse Scotland, the afternoon has a host of guest speakers talking about ways to feel inspired, motivated and learn how to make positive health changes to improve your health and wellbeing. Dr Heather Currie MB BS, FRCOG, MRCGP. associate specialist gynaecologist and obstetrician will be live on stage giving advice on women’s health. Dr Currie’s mission is to help women to have a clear understanding of Women’s Health Issues, to increase awareness of embarrassing sensitive issues so that they can feel empowered to seek help when necessary, and ultimately to help them make informed choices about their health. She is the author of the Award Winning book ‘ Menopause, answers at your fingertips’ and is MD of Menepause Matters. Other speakers include Monica Coyle who is a nurse and is founder and director of Positive Pulse Scotland.
Alison Tait, Chief Executive from Break The Silence; Image consultant Karen Degg; Personal trainer Alison Craig; Life coach and hypnotherapist Stella Milsom; yoga teacher and specialist in the field of perimenopause and menopause and fitness instructor and fitness writer Louie Fecou.
“Last year we hosted our first event with Carol Smilie as our guest speaker and it was a fantastic day,” said Monica Coyle of Positive Pulse.
“We were planning to host our 2017 event later in the year but there has been a great demand so we decided to host it in March at the Park Hotel.
“There are so many inspirational speakers, it promises to be a fantastic day.”
There will be entertainment on the day from singer 15- year- old Beth Swan who has become a YouTube sensation.
Positive Pulse Scotland offers health checks, workshops and events and looks at people’s blood pressure, cholesterol levels, your waist size.
Changing the Lives of Women 2017 takes place at the Park Hotel, Kilmarnock on Sunday, March 5.
