SPRINGWATE­R FISHERY Top rod on the fly loch goes to Neil Shankland who released 31 over three visits.

Darvel Angling Club had an outing on the fly loch with 12 anglers all on a four fish ticket.

Paul Dakers, on his first time fly fishing using his own flys, caught two bow and a brownie.

Neil Branney had 14 carp on the Carp Water with the Tip Rod. Andy Bell caught his first carp of the year with a nice common that weighed just under 10lb. BROOMHILL FLY FISHERY The first stocking went in last week with which included brownies to 13lb and tigers to 8lb. Big rainbows are arriving this week.
