Ian McPherson for Ayr East

I feel proud and privileged to be standing for election to represent ward residents in the forthcoming May elections. I am 61 and have lived in Ayr East for over 40 years where my wife and I raised two sons. At present I am a sales director for a local company and have worked within Ayrshire for all my working life. I was chair of Castlehill Primary and Belmont Academy School Boards and PTAs. I am currently an active member of Forehill, Holmston and Masonhill Community Council. It’s time for change and fresh new ideas to make our town the jewel in Ayrshire once again.
