Youngsters lead the way
BROOMHILL COARSE AND FLY Seven- year- old Leighton McKinstry was all smiles after landing this whopper ( see picture).
Nick Howe won the Wednesday Match with 74lb. Second was Sam Paterson ( 56lb) and third was Jim Anderson ( 30lb).
Round two of the Majors Frenzee Summer League was won by Gary Black with 34lb 2oz.

Carp Water fishing well with the match guys catching over 150 x carp/ skimmers to win.
Stewart Burns has tried coarse fishing for the first time as he’s a fly fisherman and has caught over 500 carp in only a week, biggest was 14lb.
Fly Fishery: still lots of big fish getting caught. Mikey had an 18lb rainbow – his next cast saw him net another rainbow which weighed 17lb 9oz.
Bob Blacksey released 27 in only a few hours during the day with Louis Burns releasing 20 trout from 3lb/ 9lb in only one hour ( evening session).
The week’s best flies were Yellow Dancers and Shipmans Buzzers.
