Kevin’s workshop on letting go

-

A former soldier who swapped Afghanistan’s front line for Ayrshire in a bid to mend minds hosted a sell out workshop at Kilmarnock’s Park Hotel last week.

Kevin Mullen uses hypnotherapy techniques to cure his patients in his new line of work, Serenity NLP in Ayr.

And the dad- of- three, who was once in charge of security at a key Taliban target, insists his own remarkable life can help turn others’ around.

Set up only 10 weeks ago, Kevin has already helped people deal with stress and anxiety, weight loss and even mending broken hearts.

And he hosted an evening called Anxiety - Letting Go at the Park Hotel in Kilmarnock with over 90 people attending to hear his words of wisdom.

Some members of the audience were brought on stage as Kevin demonstrated his hynotherapy techniques for stress relief.

“It was a great night and I was thrilled to see so many people come along,” said Kevin.

“We even had to bring in extra chairs to make sure everyone had a seat.”

The former soldier has just returned from Thailand where he spent time in a village called Chayiapuhm learning from the monks about serenity and while he was there he donated sports strips to the orphanage’s football team.

“It was truly amazing and beautiful to watch how happy these kids and families are with nothing in the world,” said Kevin.

“But the smile they wear on their faces is so wide, it is impossible not be humbled.”
